I simply want to echo the trend that Tom Braxton has mentioned and convey my excitement regarding this observation. We as Democrats can be very optimistic regarding our ability to win locally and nationally! I’m currently engaged and looking forward to continuously working for our local candidates up to their election here in Will County as well as for Barack Obama on the national scene.
We can let this too be a reminder to our fellow committeemen and women that it is our diligent work that will make this county even more true blue.

It's really true. In doing door-to-door canvassing, the vast majority of people I talk to are genuinely happy to be visited by a Democrat. A lot of these folks want to talk, because no one has bothered to listen to them before.
Our experience bears out trends described in surveys by Gallup, Zogby, and others: on the issues, the overwhelming majority of Americans agree with the Democratic Party. In visiting the neighborhoods we see that come to life.
