Will County board members next month will begin talks to map out a budget for 2013.
A draft budget proposed by Will County Executive Larry Walsh shows the county taking in slightly less tax revenue next year than this year while spending slightly more. Board members, will review Walsh's proposal and are expected to approve a budget in November.
"We have done as good a job as we can .... trying to get a budget that is as bare bones as we could make it yet provide the services people expect from us," said Paul Rafac, Will County finance director.
