Will County voters to select a number of countywide leaders

O'Neil, the county's longest-serving coroner, points to his accomplishments such as opening Will County's first morgue in 2002. O'Neil, a Democrat from Lockport, also cites various cost-saving measures during his term, such as securing donated x-ray machines or grants to help offset equipment costs.

In the recorder of deeds race, incumbent Democrat Karen Stukel will face challenger Laurie McPhillips. The two squared off four years ago when McPhillips held the office of recorder of deeds.
